Opportunities for You in the Covenant Music Ministry

Chorale – The Chorale leads worship in the 11:00 service each Sunday and presents special worship services throughout the year. No previous choir experience needed and the ability to read music is not required. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:15 – 8:30 in the Music Suite. Childcare is provided.

Praise Team – The Praise Team leads worship in the 8:45 service each Sunday. They need singers and instrumentalists, who are called and committed to leading our church in worship. They rehearse on Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:30 in the Worship Center.

Student Choir – The Student Choir presents a musical at Christmas, periodically leads in both morning worship services, and goes on an annual tour. This group is for all students in grades 6 through 12. They rehearse on Sundays from 5:00 – 6:00 in the Music Suite.

Covenant Kidz Choir – Each year the Covenant Kidz Choir presents a musical at Christmas and in the spring, and helps lead worship in both morning worship services from time to time. This group is for all children from 4 years old through 5^th grade. They rehearse on Sundays from 5:00 to 6:00 in the Worship Center.

Instrumental Ensemble – The Instrumental Ensemble is open to anyone with at least 2 years experience on their instrument. Wind, brass and strings are all welcome! This group helps lead worship each Sunday in the 11:00 service. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:15 in the Music Suite.

Handbell Ensemble – The Handbell Ensemble is for anyone in high school and older with previous handbell experience. This group helps lead worship in the 11:00 service throughout the year. They rehearse on Thursdays at 6:00 in the Worship Center.

Classics Choir – The Covenant Classics Choir uses classic songs of the faith to lead worship at our church and throughout our community. This group is for all adults 55 and up and meets on Monday afternoons at 2:00 in the Music Suite.

Drama Team – The Drama Team helps enhance our worship services by presenting sketches in both morning services throughout the year. They also participate in the Christmas and Easter musicals.

Our Traditional Worship is led by our adult choir and the Instrumental Ensemble.

Our three year old Beyond  Worship ministry has prayerfully sought God's leadership concerning their future.  The current leadership team of Beyond has felt God's call to launch out to establish a non-denominational church plant in Lancaster called ReNew Church.  This new church began meeting on Easter Sunday 2010.  We prayerfully and joyfully affirm this new work  and send this new flock out with our blessings and support.  Follow this link to the web page of ReNew Church  www.renewchurchlancaster.com/index.html
